Kara von Agoura is a very pretty 12 month old black German Shepherd. We're not sure if she's all shepherd or not, she's a medium sized girl, just slightly smaller than a GS. We got several 'pleas' from the shelter volunteers to save Kara. She was shy with new people so she didn't "show well" at the shelter, but they got to know her and realized she had a lot of love to give. The volunteer who picked her up fell in love with her right away, even though Kara was scared to come out of her crate. However after a few minutes of coaxing, she came forward, gave our volunteer a lick on the hand. She bonds extremely fast to humans who show her love and affection, and will need a new owner who will be patient with her and give her the space she needs in the first few days. (although we think with her owner she won't need a long time to bond at all)  Since she is shy, a home without small children is best, but she would love to have a canine buddy to hang out with. Please come meet Kara and give her a chance, she's a sweet and deserving girl and will pay you back ten fold.
